CryptPeer.com

This CryptPeer® site is designed in a sovereign spirit. This policy explains when and why cookies are used during your visits to our websites and online services ("Website") and how you can allow, block, or delete them.

Important note: This policy applies only to our websites. Our applications used as browser extensions (plugins) for using products and services do not use cookies.

CookieSafe™ — Sovereign Tracker Management

The CryptPeer® site uses CookieSafe™ technology by Freemindtronic® for cookie consent management. CookieSafe™ is a 100% serverless and database-free solution based on Zero Trust and Zero Knowledge principles. All consent preferences are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) — no personal data is transmitted to any server or third party. CookieSafe™ is compliant with GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, and LQPD (Andorra).

On the homepage: CryptPeer® does not use any analytics or marketing trackers. Only strictly necessary trackers for operation (language, cart, consent) may be used, stored locally via CookieSafe™. No personal data is transmitted to Freemindtronic® or any third party. Diagnostic and compatibility pages may make a request to a third-party service (display of public IP address); these pages do not display the CookieSafe™ banner.

What is a cookie and how does it work?

Cookies are text files that contain a small amount of information. They are downloaded to your device when you visit our website. Cookies are used to facilitate site navigation, save your preferences, and improve the user experience. They may also allow us to present you with relevant advertisements based on your interests.

Depending on the circumstances, we use:

Session cookies – This type of cookie is only active during the current Internet session and has a short lifespan. As soon as you close the browser, all session cookies are deleted.

Persistent cookies – This type of cookie remains on the user's device for the duration specified in the cookie.

Third-party cookies – This type of cookie is used by authorized third-party entities.

Cookies used on our website are normally classified in accordance with the guidelines of the UK International Chamber of Commerce Cookie Guide.

1. Category 1: Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies allow our website to perform various transactions, such as recording your shopping cart data during a purchase process or displaying appropriate regional content (translated) as needed.

Acceptance of these cookies is required to use the Website. Therefore, if you configure your browser to block all cookies, we cannot guarantee that our site will function properly during your visit.

2. Category 2: Performance Cookies

These cookies contain analytical information about the use of our visited website (such as the most visited pages, navigation links used, number of site visitors, etc.). All information collected is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

Current status: On CryptPeer® homepage pages, no performance cookies (analytics) are used. No Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible, or similar scripts are loaded.

If we were to use performance cookies in the future, they would only be activated after your explicit consent via CookieSafe™.

3. Category 3: Functionality Cookies

This type of cookie allows our website to record your choices (for example, your username, your region's language, etc.). They are used to improve the user experience.

By continuing to use our website, you authorize us to place this type of cookie on your device.

4. Category 4: Advertising Cookies

These cookies are normally used for marketing activities to provide visitors with more relevant information. They are also used to limit the number of views of the same advertisement and to measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign.

Current status: On CryptPeer® homepage pages, no advertising or marketing cookies are used. No third-party marketing trackers are loaded.

If we were to use advertising cookies in the future, they would only be activated after your explicit consent via CookieSafe™.

Third-Party Cookies

To offer you the best possible website experience and to better understand our visitors' needs, we may need to use applications or functions managed by a third-party organization (such as an advertising network, an Internet traffic analysis service provider, etc.). This functionality may require these third-party entities to place cookies that are beyond our control on your system. These cookies are likely analytics/performance cookies or advertising cookies. However, we do not authorize any third party to use these cookies for any other activity not mentioned in this policy. All information collected is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

By continuing to use our website, you authorize us to place this type of cookie on your device.

How to Allow, Block or Delete Cookies?

Browsers are configured by default to allow cookies, but they can be configured to block some or all cookies, or to warn you before a cookie is placed on your device.

You can easily delete all cookies installed in your browser's cookie folder. Click on your browser's "Help" function and enter "Cookies" in the search field to see instructions for allowing, blocking, or deleting cookies.

If you disable all cookies, you will not be able to use all features of our Website and some pages may not display correctly.

Do We Detect If Users Open Our Emails?

We may detect if users open our emails. In this case, emails sent by our trusted services or our partners may contain a "pixel graphic element" which, when displayed, tells us that the email has been opened. In addition, it may signal the use of links or advertisements in the email. We may use this information for various activities, for example to determine which emails are most interesting to recipients, to know if users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them, etc. The pixel graphic element is deleted when the email is deleted. If you do not want us to detect whether you have opened our emails or when you click on links in one of our emails, you must click on the "unsubscribe" link in the received email. If you choose to unsubscribe, you will no longer receive emails.

Your Consent

On pages equipped with the CookieSafe™ banner, your consent is collected explicitly before any non-strictly-necessary tracker. You can: accept all optional trackers, reject all, or customize your choices by category. Rejection is as simple as acceptance (CNIL compliance). Your choice is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to any server.

If you do not wish to accept cookies when using our website, you must either:

  1. Click "Reject all" in the CookieSafe™ banner (homepage pages)
  2. Modify your browser settings to block all or part of cookies
  3. Stop using our website.

Will This Policy Be Modified?

This policy was last updated on January 14, 2025. We may occasionally need to modify our cookie policy.

This is the European directive: "Internet users must be informed and give their consent before the insertion of trackers. They must have an option to choose not to be tracked when they visit a site or use an application. Publishers are therefore required to ask for users' consent in advance. This consent is valid for up to 13 months. Some trackers, however, are exempt from collecting this consent."

However, according to Reuters agency, the European Union planned to relax the rules of the "telecoms package" by 2018. A draft directive planned to rely on web browsers since they could contain an option, in their settings, allowing users to automatically accept the addition of cookies and other trackers on their device. The idea followed by legislators was that if browsers are equipped with such functionality, sites that wish to use cookies for advertising targeting do not need to set up banners to ask for user consent, since they have already given their consent via their browser settings.

We suggest you consult this page periodically to stay informed of any changes that may affect you.
